From Vancouver, Ronan Segrave is back to delve into the 16 months of intense US political debate with the Federal Election coming up. This week we ponder Jeb's chances of being the third Bush in the whitehouse.

sOur political editor Adam Devlin reports from Melbourne to look at current polics in Australia including the claim that the Federal Government may have actually paid "people-smugglers" to send a boat of Asylum seekers back to Indonesia, which was initially headed for Australian shores.

HOUR TWO

Irish Correspondent Ken O'Sullivan looks at the life and times of Irish poet W.B. Yeats.

Entertainment Reporter Rachel Brunsden joins me from Melbourne to catch up on all that is going on in the mad world of entertainment!

Bob McKenzie reports from Dublin, Ireland about the tragic events of 6 young Irish people who died in a balcony collapse in California, USA. The six died when the balcony at an apartment block collapsed during a 21st birthday party in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

 

HOUR THREE

I rejoin our Tasmanian Correspondents Pall and Jo Volta from the band The Sign. This week we chat about reality TV shows, particularly music talent contests and how they have evolved over the years.

Dublin Correspondent Declan Hughes is currently in Montreal, Canada for the women's World Cup in soccer, and updates us on all the excitement there.

From North Carolina, USA Calabash Flash is here with his take on North Carolina singer Marlisa Dillon!
